The homeopathic remedy does not suppress symptoms, but rather provides the vital force with the necessary information to strengthen it and heal itself. The term "vital force" can thus best be compared to the conventional medical term "immune system." To give the vital force the necessary boost, only one remedy is needed (the one most similar to the patient), administered only as often as necessary until the healing response begins in the patient (single remedy and the smallest possible dose).
Another unique feature of homeopathy is individualization, meaning that remedies are prescribed not based on diagnoses, but rather on individual symptoms. For example, five people with the same illness, such as a cough, will each receive a different remedy because each patient has different cough symptoms (e.g., stinging, tickling, choking, suffocating, worse at night, worse outdoors, worse indoors, better with hot drinks, better with cold drinks, etc.).
The term “potentization” refers to the manufacturing process of medicinal products, in which the starting substances are increasingly diluted and potentized, i.e. energized, by trituration or shaking.
Homeopathy
Basics
Homeopathy as a healing method was founded in 1796 by the German physician and scientist Dr. Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann and includes the following main principles:
-
The law of similarity (“Similia similibus curentur”: Like cures like)
-
The life force
-
The individualization
-
The drug testing
-
The potentiation
-
The use of single agents in the smallest possible dose
Homeopathy considers the person as a whole (character, life situation, fears, problems) and understands the patient's suffering as a disturbance of their vital force. If a person is healthy, their vital force is also in balance. However, if a person is disturbed by external influences (cold, heat, violence, but also psychological/mental suffering such as anger, insults, grief, or fear), their vital force is impaired and produces symptoms so that the person becomes aware of them and eliminates the triggering factors. If this is not possible, the homeopath seeks a remedy that, in a healthy person, could produce symptoms similar to those currently suffered by the patient (drug proving).
“Similia similibus curentur.”
(Let like be cured by like.)

The right one for me?
When and for which complaints can homeopathy be used?
Homeopathic treatment takes the whole person into account, not just diagnoses or illnesses.
This allows for gentle, long-lasting, and side-effect-free treatment of ailments. Instead of suppressing the body's language, homeopathy can help achieve true well-being and health on all levels of being.
